Cast on 346 stitches. Oy! I waited for my new Addi Clicks to arrive to start this project as it requires two needle sizes. The pattern called for a cobweb lace weight cashmere yarn (used doubled) but I'm opting for a fingering weight all by itself. I don't have the patience for doubled cobweb lace yarn nor do I have a LYS that carries it so I went stash diving and came up with an alternative in a pseudo-tweedy wool/silk blend. I think it'll work if I can get beyond the cast-on edge -- all 346 stitches of it! We begin ... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 marker.

I love it! I can't wait to see and hear more about this project....like the name of the yarn so I can get a mental picture of the project....
I'm getting a twich already. Besides who wants to make a shawl that big with cashmere in it. I prefer it for tiny tiny projects.
